Workshops are held Tuesday evenings from 6:00-9:00pm for six weeks
The following checklist explains the steps and costs associated with the LifeSTAR program:
- Call 801-785-4111 and indicate that you'd like to sign up for the LifeSTAR Getting Started Workshop or if you have specific questions for Jodi Hildebrandt, director of LifeSTAR Utah County, you can call her assistant at 801-874-7691.
- You will be asked to attend a preliminary assessment/screening appointment. Each participant/couple must receive a one-time assessment with a LifeSTAR therapist before starting the program. Assessment includes (1) an addiction screening, (2) time for you to ask specific questions about your situation, and (3) final sign-up instructions and information about the workshop. Cost for the one-time screening is $115. This must be prepaid prior to your appointment.
- After completing the initial screening, you will be enrolled in the next Getting Started Workshop. The workshop runs for six-weeks and includes over 18 hours of education. The workshop is designed to educate individuals struggling with pornography addiction, their spouses and family members. Treatment is more successful when couples and family members attend together and become educated about addiction and recovery. Cost for Getting Started Workshop is $600 per participant ($1200 for a couple). This price includes all workshop workbooks and materials.
- Payment for the Getting Started Workshop needs to be before the first day of the program. You can pay by check, cash, credit card or PayPal. You can call 801-874-7691 to run your credit card by phone.
- Regular private therapy sessions require a minimum of 24-hours cancellation notice in order to not be charged in full.
